Jeffrey O. Henley is Chairman of Oracle Corporation. Mr. Henley held the position of Oracle’s Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Vice President for 13 years from 1991 to 2004, and has been a member of their Board of Directors since 1995. He also serves on their Executive Management Committee.

Prior to joining Oracle in 1991, Mr. Henley served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pacific Holding Company, a privately-held company with diversified interests in manufacturing and real estate, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Saga Corp., a multi-billion dollar food service company. He also served as Director of Finance at Memorex Corp. in its large storage division, and as Controller of International Operations at Fairchild Camera and Instruments. Mr. Henley holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a MBA in finance from UCLA. He is also a National Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.


Dennis Cagan, is the founder, chairman and CEO of the Santa Barbara Technology Group, an investor and mentor for early-stage technology companies. Mr. Cagan has been a successful entrepreneur in the hi-tech industry for over 41 years, and has run three publically traded technology companies. In 1979 he was the keynote speaker at the first COMDEX Show, in Las Vegas, and since then he has become a nationally recognized authority on software, hardware, communications and the Internet, in the disciplines of strategy, sales, marketing, services and distribution channels. Mr. Cagan has served on 43 public and private company boards of directors. He is currently on the Boards of Directors of Acorn Technologies, Inc. (co-founder); Noza, LLC; Truston Corp.; and Nutricate Corp. Mr. Cagan majored in economics at the University of California, Los Angeles.


Virgil Elings, Ph.D., is the founder of Digital Instruments (now a wholly owned subsidiary of Veeco Corporation [Nasdaq: VECO]). He served as the company's president and chairman of the board until his retirement in 1999. Digital Instruments remains the global leader in the design and manufacture of scanning probe microscopes, including scanning tunneling and atomic force microscopes. Dr. Elings is currently Chairman of the Board at NanoDevices and is actively involved in several philanthropic organizations. Dr. Elings earned his Ph.D. in Physics from MIT, was a Professor of Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds 42 patents.


Gene Wang has more than 21 years of experience running successful high technology companies and has raised more than $100 million of working capital as CEO at three startups. His current venture, Bitfone, is providing software infrastructure to telecommunications service providers to enable ‘over-the-air’ firmware updates and management of mobile phones. Mr. Wang was a co-founder, CEO and chairman of the board at PhotoAccess Corp. which was acquired by Agilent Technologies in August 2000. Prior to PhotoAccess, Mr. Wang was the CEO and President of Computer Motion, which he led successfully through an IPO in August 1997. Previously, Mr. Wang was Executive Vice President at Symantec where he managed four divisions and helped that company grow from $172 million to $412 million in annual sales. Prior to this, Mr. Wang was Vice President and General Manager at Borland, where he helped popularize the C++ programming language, selling over one million copies. Mr. Wang received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.


Mark Klopp is currently a Managing Director with Coronis Medical Ventures (www.coronismedical.com), an accelerator and seed fund focused on medical devices. He is also a Partner with the Bell-Mason Group (www.bellmasongroup.com) which advises corporations on venturing. Mark’s interest is to help others through for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Specifically, he has been an active angel investor in medical technology ventures, most notably as a co-founder of Uptake Medical, a medical device company treating emphysema. In addition, he is on the board at San Ramon Valley Christian Academy and is involved in contributing to and assisting several other local and global charities.

Mark is a former Board Member of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) and serves as past Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee for the Corporate Venture Group. Formerly Managing Director of Eastman Ventures, Eastman Chemical Company’s corporate venture capital arm, Mark started up and led the company’s efforts to invest in and partner with private companies, providing early access to emerging technology and growth options to Eastman. He and his team forged relationships and co-investments with premier venture capitalists and corporations. Eastman invested with a top-quartile IRR track record in 25 ventures and 5 venture funds in areas spanning Information Technology, Life Sciences, Advanced Materials and Clean Technology. Mark has extensive operating experience in international business management, sales and marketing. Previous assignments included: Assistant to Eastman’s CEO and Chairman; Regional Business Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa and several Marketing and Sales executive positions. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Management from Roosevelt University.
