DR. YULUN WANG, WORLD RENOWNED MEDICAL ROBOTICIST AND INDUSTRY PIONEER,
SELECTED AS FINALIST FOR THE 2003 WORLD TECHNOLOGY AWARDS

Santa Barbara, CA, July 8, 2003 - InTouch Health, Inc., the leader in remote presence technology announced today that the World Technology Network (WTN) has selected Yulun Wang, Ph.D., chairman and CEO of InTouch Health, Inc., as a finalist for the 2003 World Technology Awards in the category of Information Technology - Hardware. Dr. Wang is leading InTouch Health's development of robots to address the health care crisis of staff shortages, rising costs, and an ever-increasing demand for services by our aging population. InTouch Health's 'Companion' is a mobile robot which enables healthcare experts to "virtually" consult with caregivers, patients, and other professionals at the point of care, whenever they are needed. With the Companion, an expert can move, see, hear and talk in another location as though they are actually there.

The World Technology Awards were presented by the WTN in association with NASDAQ, Accenture, Microsoft, Genencor International, Dupont Textiles and Interiors, TIME magazine, Technology Review magazine, Science magazine, and Business 2.0 magazine. Selection as a finalist also means that Dr. Wang has been elected as a Fellow of the World Technology Network.

James P. Clark, founder and chairman of the World Technology Network, stated, "The World Technology Awards program was created to recognize truly extraordinary innovation on a global scale, the sort of work that could be described as creating our collective future and changing our world. InTouch Health's contribution in the field of Information Technology has been outstanding, and their selection as a new WTN Fellow is public acknowledgement of that fact."

The new Fellows were announced on June 25, 2003 in San Francisco, at the World Technology Awards gala ceremony in the conclusion of the World Technology Summit. The World Technology Awards honor individuals and corporations from twenty technology-related sectors. Nominees were identified through an intensive, global process in which WTN members made their nominations and then voted their preferences based on who they think are most innovative and influential within their particular field. The finalists selected are among the top five people in the world in their field; selected by their peers as being innovators doing work of the greatest likely long-term significance.

Dr. Yulun Wang said, "I am very pleased to have been selected as a Finalist for the 2003 World Technology Awards in the Information Technology category. At InTouch Health we firmly believe that our remote presence technology will provide innovative solutions to healthcare staffing shortages, rising costs, and inefficiencies in health care delivery. I am honored that a top group of my peers believe our work will have long-term significance."
