The Robot's panoramic Virtually There visualization system, combined with the Holonomic Drive System, the SenseArray System 360, and the easy-to-use control interface, affords physicians, patients and hospital staff a safe and effective interactive experience.
The RP-7® Remote Presence System is built on the InTouch Health proprietary Virtually There interactive technology. The Virtually There technology integrates the most technologically advanced digital cameras, audio microphones, amplification circuitry and custom software to create an unparalleled two-way, audio-video communications capability.
The patented Holonomic Drive System is RP-7's mobile platform. It provides "human-like mobility" by enabling versatile movement in any direction: forward, backward, side to side, turning, or combinations of the above. The platform has variable speed allowing the expert to seamlessly stroll through a healthcare facility.
Combined with the Holonomic Drive System, the SenseArray 360 System, a network of infrared proximity sensors and a bumper around the base of the platform, allows safe and easy navigation of RP-7 even in crowded and small environments.
At the heart of the Remote Presence Robotic System is the RP System Core. This intricate computerized technology controls, monitors and allows for safe use of RP-7.
